CMR-600D AC Current Monitoring System



		The CMR-600D AC current monitoring system is a complete package that provides you with all of the components required to measure AC current levels on a single phase, display the current directly in amps and initiate relay contact action at user defined set points for control. The system consists of 4 major items --- first, the Split Core current sensor (shown right). The current sensor is placed around the conductor that you wish to measure and the removable leg snapped in place.



				The AC current sensor is connected to the 2 wire transmitter (shown left). Wires are provided on the sensor and the 2 wire transmitter is mounted at any convenient location; if a greater distance is required between the two items, wire can be added.

From the 2 wire transmitter, you add your own pair of conductors to the location of the surface mount electronic enclosure (shown right). This instrument powers the 2 wire transmitter, accepts its 4-20 ma input, displays the measured current in amps and provides two relay outputs that will trip at user selected values of the measured AC current. As the system is based on 2 wire
4-20 ma architecture, you can add additional loop based instruments as required.


	The last component of the CMR-600D system is a 120v to 12v AC plug in transformer to power the system. For applications where other primary voltages are used, the appropriate transformer is provided. Just wire the 24 vac output terminals back to the electronic enclosure, plug in the transformer and your AC current monitoring package is complete!

Illimite’s CMR-600D is provided as a complete package of all 4 of these items: the individual assemblies are very easy to install and system set up is minimal. The maximum level of AC current that can be measured by the system is 600A however other models are available to cover higher currents where required.
